Historic Booterstown

Free Guided Walk

Thursdays at 7pm August 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and September 3rd & 10th

Booterstown – translated as "The Town of the Road" – grew up along the main road from Dublin, through Blackrock and on to Wicklow and along another ancient route, now called Booterstown Avenue. This area has had its churches, its castle and many eminent occupants and still has a great collection of eighteenth-century houses. This tour lifts the lid on Booterstown and its long history.
