Glendalough - The Miner's Way: Poetry & Story

Join acclaimed poet Jane Clarke & historian Joan Kavanagh on a beautiful five-kilometre walk from the Glendalough Upper Lake Car Park to the Miners' Village and back.

Joan will speak about mining in the Glendasan, Glendalough and Glenmalure Valleys and Jane will read poems inspired by the lives of the miners.

On this relaxed ramble along forest road and track you'll learn about a rich cultural heritage; a way of life that has disappeared.
